Alright, I have a lot to announce!
We have a new site name! We will be called Wolves of Ayaruk, and we may possibly even start a new story from scratch (though the same characters can be used) and a map of the land will be drawn out by anyone who volunteers to do so. I'm not very good at it, so I won't even attempt to try. However, that's another thread... one that I will create sometime soon. The basic premise of the story will remain though; wolves and humans at war in medieval times.
We have a few new skins for this forum; our default, "Wolves of Ayaruk" is a blue theme with orange writing and a black background, including a pretty computer game picture of a wolf against a moon. There's "Pastel Purple" which is probably my favorite right now; it's a purple theme with a pastel textured violet background. It's got a border around the forum, and a pretty banner of a wolf howling to the moon at night. "Cinnamon" is a more professional looking theme; a mix of reds and pales with a sunset background. Finally, "Fire and Sand" is a more 'fun' theme. It kind of reminds of Hollywood, and it's a mix of flame-reds and pales. It has one of my old drawings as its logo, featuring my two wolf-dog characters Seth and Kai (from L to R). Soon I'll open up the staff applications, and in the open positions will be a "Forum Designer" which will consist of creating skins and managing codes and plugins.
We're going to try and hold some sort of contest shortly to get a kick-start to the forum, plus it'll be really fun. You can direct any ideas for it in the replies below.
I know a lot of people probably want an update about the game after all this time. Well, I'll leave that up to Swift, since I do not know anything about it either. Hopefully we'll all get a thread from her in the Game Section.
Katy has a thread up about a wolf RPG video-game she's creating, a spinoff on this one, so go look at that; it's awesome! It's in the Discussion board.
We have a music playlist on the bottom of the site, so play around with that. I ask that you suggest some songs for me to add to it for guys, but nothing disturbing (obviously lol).
There will be more boards added than are visible currently, but they'll fit in properly and not look messy. That's a relief, right? Everything looked so messy on the past two versions. Suggest some stuff, if you can, because it'll help. Also, I left the Role-play section blank so that one of the staff members can work it out. I won't do that area because I'm sure I'd make it ugly lol
Anyway, cheers to the rebirth of WOTK (WOA)!
